Free forever plan · No credit card · Chrome, Edge, Brave & Firefox
Built for the tools you already live in
The drudgery
Stop clicking the same things all day.
This is what your hands did today. On loop.
- You retype the same email eighty times a day.
- You hunt through menus for shortcuts your web apps barely have.
- You bounce between five tabs to move one piece of data.
The fix
Map it to a key once. Run it forever — no mouse, no server round-trip, on any site.
Capabilities
One shortcut. Any action.
Visual Shortcut Mapper
Bind any key to any action, with a searchable overlay and conflict detection.
Contextual Text Expansion
Templates with {{variables}} and {{#if}} conditionals — type less, send more.
DOM Click Macros
Record a click sequence once. Replay it on any page, forever.
Multi-Step Sequences
Navigate → wait → click → fill → run JS, chained behind one keystroke.
JavaScript Runner
Your own code, with full page context, fired from a single key.
Dynamic Profiles
The right shortcuts load themselves — per domain, automatically.
Watch it run
See it fly.
One keystroke fires a whole sequence — navigate, wait, fill, expand, and run your code, in order, without you touching the mouse.
- g dGOopen the deal record
- waitWAITpage settles · 200ms
- f nFILLpaste the captured fields
- ;hiEXPANDHi {{name}}, quick note…
- rRUN JSlog activity, focus next
The moat
Chain anything into anything.
Every other tool does one of these. HotKeyNavigator chains all five behind a single key — that’s the whole point.

Local-first
The pages you visit never touch our servers.
- Manifest V3, minimal permissions, no telemetry on what you do.
- Shortcuts, macros, and functions are stored locally on your device.
- Page content, selected text, and keystrokes are never transmitted — on any tier.
Pro includes cloud sync of your own configuration to your account, so your setup follows you across devices — your config, never the contents of your pages.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Does it work on every website?
Yes. HotKeyNavigator runs on any page. Map a shortcut once and it works everywhere — including web apps that ship almost no keyboard support of their own.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and every Chromium browser — Edge, Brave, Opera, and Arc — plus Firefox. The same shortcuts, macros, and templates work the same way on all of them.
Is my data safe?
Your shortcuts, macros, and functions run locally and are stored on your device. We store your account email and plan; nothing else leaves your machine. We never transmit the pages you visit, the text you select, or your keystrokes.
Can I really use Vim inside text fields like Gmail?
Yes. Turn on in-field Vim and you get NORMAL/INSERT/VISUAL modes inside inputs, textareas, and rich editors like the Gmail compose box — motions, edits like dw and ciw, yank, and dot-repeat. It’s opt-in and free, so nothing changes until you switch it on.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Shortcuts, text templates, and click macros need zero code. The JavaScript runner is there if you want it — entirely optional.
What do I get for free?
Up to 5 shortcuts, plus Vim mode and the command palette — for free, forever, no credit card. Pro unlocks unlimited shortcuts, DOM macros, sequences, the JavaScript runner, profiles, and cloud sync.
Will the free limit interrupt me mid-task?
Never. Plan limits apply only when you configure shortcuts — not while you work. A shortcut you already set up keeps running regardless of your plan.
How much is Pro?
$7/mo, or $5.50/mo billed annually. Every Pro power comes with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel in two clicks.
